Garlic Thermidrome

£3.95 OUT OF STOCK UNTIL OCTOBER 2010

The joy in growing garlic yourself is you can use it 'wet', this means picking it and using straightaway, before it reaches its dried out form more commonly available. It's a whole new taste experience that every garlic fan must try. The flavour is milder and sweeter. It's truely exceptional in dishes using raw garlic like pesto and in salad dressings when you don't want such a garlic hit.

Garlic's also very easy to grow. Plant cloves in the autumn, and by the time summer arrives each one will have transformed into a new bulb.

Autumn sown varieties like Thermidrome have better flavour than spring sown equivalents, but don't store quite as well. But trust me, that won't be a problem once you get a taste for wet garlic.

Growing Equipment: Grow bed if you have a patio.
