Okay they do take up quite a bit of space for a long period of time, so they're not for people with small plots, but they positively thrive in our cool/damp climate and their wonderful mix of celery and fennel flavours is delicious!
Use them to make classic French Remoulade, add to stews, or use as a tasty potato substitute if you're cutting out carbs.
Prinz produces large smooth bulbs, with none of the hollowness associated with some other varieties.
