Broccoli Romanesco
£1.95 Average 25 seedsBroccoli is two a penny in the supermarket, we thought we'd make things interesting with this Northern Italian variety with its roots back in the 15th century. The tightly packed lime green florets have a delicious nutty flavour and are produced in the most incredible geometric swirls.
It matures during the summer, so you'll need to be vigilant for cabbage white butterflies and protect with netting if necessary.
