Thyme is one of the herbs I use the most because of its strong flavour and sheer versatility. It's fantastic in stews, and also works brilliantly with roast chicken, pork, lamb or beef. Ensure you have a constant, convenient supply by growing it yourself. It's easy to cultivate from seed and the plants will live for 3-4 years with minimal attention from you.
