Lemon Balm is my favourite herb for making lemon flavoured tea. When I head up to our veg plot I often take a flask of boiling water with me and stuff a few sprigs of lemon balm in when I arrive. Five minutes later I can enjoy a delicious fragrant brew.
It's very easy to grow. Once you've sown it, the same plants will come back year after year, with new plants self seeding around your garden too.
Equally well suited to plots, patios and windowboxes
