Chervil often gets overlooked in the UK, whilst in France it's regarded as an essential element of 'Les Fines Herbes' along with Tarragon, Parsley and Chives. The delicate aniseed taste has a variety of uses - it's great as a final addition to omelettes and scrambled eggs, and is guaranteed to pep up any green salad
Despite its fragile appearance Chervil is a very robust plant. Thriving in the English climate and producing leaves right through winter in a sheltered spot with a flush of fresh growth in the springtime.
Growing Equipment: Gutters are useful for sowing if you have a plot. Patio owners should sow direct into a Grow bed or a Dutch trug.
