Basil Sweet Genovese

Basil is my favourite herb, and I can never have too much of it. I always keep a stash of pine nuts and parmesan at home so I can have fresh pesto when ever I choose.

It can be very difficult to grow basil outside in all but the warmest and most sheltered positions, so it's best to grow in a windowbox on a sunny windowsill inside.
