Pepper Long Red Marconi

Frankly, peppers are one of the more difficult veg plants to grow. They need a long growing season and lots of warmth to fully mature and produce. Even then you're only looking at 3-4 fruit per plant.

Long Red Marconi is a faster growing variety that grows very well in unheated greenhouses/polytunnels but you'd ideally use a heated propagator to encourage seeds to germinate early in the year.
