Chilli Habanero

Habanero chillies are not for the faint hearted. This chilli is viewed by many as the hottest in the world. It's super spicy and fruity flavour makes it an essential ingredient in Caribbean cookery.

Habaneros are slightly more difficult to grow than the other varieties of chilli we sell because they need a long growing season. In a poor summer they may not ripen fully by the end of the year (like the ones in the photo - taken in 2009!). Nevertheless they can still be enjoyed green.
